Separable verb: aus·werten
In a main clause the prefix aus splits off and goes to the end. After weil, dass and other subordinating words, the verb stays in one piece at the end.
Main clauseEr wertet die Ergebnisse am Abend aus.He evaluates the results in the evening.
Subordinate clauseSie bleibt hier, weil sie die Daten auswertet.She stays here because she is analyzing the data.
